Dr Piyumi completed her degree in 2016 in Queensland.  She commenced her training in Queensland and then moved to Melbourne to complete 2 years of residency and a year as a surgical registrar, before moving into General Practice which she loves. ​​

Given her previous surgical experience, she has developed a particular interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and Cosmetic medicine. She does implanon insertions/removals.

Dr Piyumi's other areas of interest are: Preventative Medicine, Children's health, Women's health. 

Outside of medicine, she loves to spend time with her dogs, husband and newborn daughter. She is passionate about healthy living and enjoys going to the gym, hiking, dancing and scuba diving.
