Dr Christien Buchwald studied Graduate Entry Medicine at Swansea University in the UK and completed GP training in 2022. Since then, he has gained broad experience working in urgent primary care, private medical assessments, a private weight loss clinic, and as a GP in both urban and rural settings, as well as within the prison service. In addition, he has held academic roles as a university tutor at Swansea University and is an examiner for the General Medical Council.

Dr Buchwald’s professional interests include urgent primary care, paediatrics, weight management, lifestyle medicine, men’s health, LGBTQIA+ health and aesthetic medicine.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys travelling, hiking and weight lifting.
