Dr Yap trained at Sydney University and worked as a GP whilst studying Theology. Dr Yap has worked in Central Asia for 11 years in GP training, wholistic community development and bible teaching.

She works part-time at Park Street Medical Practice.

Dr Yap also has training in counseling and Life Coaching. Her special interests include mental health, wholistic medicine, preventative health and travel medicine.

​

In her spare time Dr Yap enjoys time with friends and family, movies, board games, Archery and Judo.
